Visitors Present:

Terry and John Mayes

The meeting was called to order by the President. The minutes for the last meeting were approved.

Terry and John Mayes shared with us their involvement in missions in Africa, which are ongoing through their church. It was noted many times that both of our missions can learn many things from each other.

Treasurer's Report:

Balance as of June 30, 2005 is $199,218.96. Subsequent deposits of $1,560 would bring us to an up-to-date total of $200,778.96.

Beds have been located for the wards so the designated funds will be sent: $4,200.

Bob Claytor with Carpenters for Christ is presently in Africa and on his way to BMC.

Dr. Pradham is having problems with his paperwork and we will seek to help him.

We need to work on our grant writing skills as funding is always an issue.

Lee Jennings will contact the Rotary Club about a club presentation.

Laurie Douglas will schedule dates for the Medical Auxiliary and Society to present programs about BMC.

The Finishers Project is in the registration process.

After scheduling the next meeting for Monday, September 26, 2005 at 6:30 pm at the office of Lee Jennings, the meeting was adjourned.
