Over sixty thousand patients are seen in the clinic every year. Faile II is the hospital's founder. This statue is located in front of the hospital. This is the hospital cornerstone. It is a memorial to Dr. Faile II, the hospital's founder. The church was established as part of the spiritual outreach of the hospital. Dr. Cindy Shumpert sees a patient in January 2005. Numerous volunteer physicians and medical students continue to play an important role in providing care at BMC. This is the dental clinic in a local village. Dr. Fuller Robinson helped create this system which runs off a vehicle battery/ alternator! This door, which gains one access to the nutrition center, is dedicated to a past medical missionary. This box of medications is used at the tuberculosis ward. This is a separate facility at BMC that provides long term care—often months—for patients with this common and often fatal condition. Dr. Faile III, the current medical director and career missionary, stands next to the statue of his father. Career missionaries dedicate an unbelievable amount of time and energy in difficult conditions serving God and spreading His love. Children in the pediatric ward. An addition to this unit was paid for by donations to the Faile Foundation and have eased the overcrowded conditions of two patients to a bed and many on the floor.
